The National Army Museum

Project type: Museum

What we did: Masterplanning, creative direction and lead 3d design

Date: 2013-14

Client: Event Communications

Following a masterplan for the complete redevelopment of the National Army Museum’s Chelsea site in London, Dan led the £5m exhibition project through Concept, Scheme and Detail design, pulling together the exhibition part of the Heritage Lottery Stage II funding submission for the £11.5m grant.

Whilst working for Event Communications and working alongside BDP architects, Dan was responsible for developing five new themed galleries and creating an overall design language for each, leading a team of 3d and graphic designers and content developers through the detail design process.

This involved continual collaboration and presentations to the many directors and curators of the museum and also to an Academic Advisory Panel and to public consultation events.
