We were commissioned by Merlin to produce a bespoke soundscape for the new ‘The Sea at Night’ gallery at the SeaLife Aquarium in Busan, South Korea. The soundscape accompanies wall and floor video projections, tanks for live fish and fluorescent scenic setwork. 

The ambient soundbed was made from uplifting musical themes, the sounds of the sea and the creatures to be found there. It plays on multiple speakers, across a number of interconnecting spaces. Like the sea itself, the piece ebbs and flows in intensity and is made to loop infinitely, so the visitor never perceives the beginning and end.
